Kurt Angle would love to face Miro in AEW
The Olympic Gold Medalist wrestled his last match in WWE against Baron Corbin at WrestleMania 35. Many called the match lackluster.
After that, Angle served as a producer before leaving WWE in March. WWE offered him various roles like Matt Riddle’s manager, and coach in the Performance Centre. However, he chose to focus on his nutrition business.
In the same Q&A, the Gold Medalist revealed his dream opponent in AEW. He revealed, “Rusev [now known as Miro]. Do I need to explain why? Olympic Hero vs. The Bulgarian Brute. He’s an exceptional Performer.”
He also revealed how his history with the Olympics influenced his decision to shift into sports entertainment.
“It helped, but I would have pursued it anyway. It may have taken me a bit longer to get there, but I would have done it. I fell in love with it in 1998 after I started watching WWE.”
