LAS VEGAS – Bruno Silva beat J.P. Buys with a second-round TKO Saturday to open the preliminary card at UFC on ESPN 21 in Las Vegas.

Take a look inside the fight with Silva, who picked up his first UFC win and spoiled Buys’ promotional debut.

“I connected with the first right hand and I dropped him. I felt like he was panicking, so I tried to finish him. He got back up and I waited for him to throw another jab to counter with my next right hand on the chin.”

“It feels super good to be here and knock people out. I’m born for that. I had to finish this guy to prove I belong in this great promotion. I want to stay here and keep fighting. I just turned 31. There’s a new chapter coming. I just knocked this guy out in the second round. He’s a pretty good fighter, too.”

“I want three or four fights this year. That’s what I want. That’s what I deserve. I’ve been training so hard for a long time. I want to fight.”
