Butler, Dragic carry Heat past NBA-best Jazz, 124-116
MIAMI (AP) The Miami Heat don’t believe in statement wins. Jimmy Butler scored a season-high 33 points, reserve Goran Dragic tied his season-best with 26 and the Heat beat Utah 124-116 on Friday night – handing the NBA-leading Jazz (26-7) just their third loss in their last 25 games. Bam Adebayo scored 19 points and grabbed 11 rebounds for Miami, which has won a season-best five straight games.

Khudobin helps Stars end 6-game skid in 3-0 win vs. Panthers
Anton Khudobin made 43 saves for his second shutout of the season, leading the Dallas Stars to a 3-0 victory over the Florida Panthers on Wednesday night that ended their six-game winless streak. Defensemen John Klingberg, Esa Lindell and Joel Kiviranta scored for the Stars, who are 1-3-3 in their last seven. Khudobin has shut out Florida three times in nine career starts.
